I know when you work out and the pounds don't come off, it can be incredibly frustration. But what you may not know is that certain habits and physical changes can undermine even the most scientifically proven weight loss strategies, especially after you reach age 40. Here are some tips to turn those habits around and finally shed the weight.
EVERY DAY:
*Wear a pedometer
*Eat five minimeals(300 calories)
*Log your food choices before you eat
*Drink at least six 8-ounce glasses of cold water
THREE TIMES A WEEK
*Lift weights
WHENEVER YOU EXERCISE
*Snack before your workout (4oz of yogurt, banana)
*schedule exercise before ameal so you eat within a half hour of finishing your workout
*Track your heart rate during cardio
WEEKLY
*Switch up your exercise routine. If your taking only one type of glass a week add a different type of class to your weekly routine
*Plan an active outing such as hiking
